The simulation is actually to scale and that's why you see the extremely high resolution. I've attached a couple of screen shots of an attempt to simulate a sugar or maple syrup like fluid. Great advise about scaling the forces, I didn't think of that before. I think it's really hard to work with realflow in this small areas.Ĭhange instead the daemon force scale for fluids and you should get the same effect and you can work with a larger emitter scale. I never put the size of the emitter so small. I'll prep some more scenes and post the settings.perhaps I missing something very obvious or simple.Ĭhrispan wrote:I had not tested the tendrils option as well, will have to test it soon. I use a large value on the count(from 100-1000), and start manipulating the strength and acting time but I either get particles exploding out of the main body or nothing noticeable.I was expecting to get a trail of particles that can then generate those "fibres" they keep referring to in the manual.but I can't seem to get any. I have been playing with tendrils with the sheeter daemon but I'm not sure I understand how it works exactly. I have to setup really big resolution values to get enough particles at this small scale but it's starting to behave better although I still get this tearing effect no matter what I do. 1 meter emitters to get this macro level of details. So rather than setting up huge 1 meter emitters I've been setting up. I have since deleted the project and started playing with more realistic scale setups because I read somewhere that scale does matter.
